The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) has a single mission: to make Hong Kong a regional hub for innovation and development of technology. This will help to diversify and grow the city's economy, create diverse job opportunities, boost Hong Kong's global status, and inspire young generations to take up STEM. Since 2001, HKSTP has created a tech-based ecosystem that connects people and fosters collaboration, leading to successful commercialisation of innovations. Today, the park is home to 580 technology companies and 11,500 technology professionals. Their incubation programmes have seen great success, with many startups and products making a mark on the world stage. As they continue to expand, HKSTP is developing three key platforms: Healthy Ageing, Robotics, and Smart City. With these new initiatives, HKSTP will continue to support and nurture the best talent and ideas, and create a bright future for us all.
