The Albert Place Practice clinic, specialising in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, was opened in London in the late 1980s by Clair Beardson. The practice proved highly successful and in 1999 a second practice was opened in Hong Kong. Albert Place has a number of certified Chinese medical doctors who, together, bring a wide range of experience. They specialise in many areas, including infertility, pregnancy preparation, Pre and post IVF acupuncture, chronic pain, low back pain, chronic fatigue, skin problems, diabetes, hypertension, gout, hot flush, menopause, body recovery after chemotherapy or radiotherapy, heavy metal detoxification, food therapy, weight management, facial cosmetic acupuncture, quit smoking and cessation of drug abuse.

The practice also has a highly trained nutritionist, Raymond Chung, to provide food therapy based on Western and Chinese Medicine Nutrition and Toxicological Nutrition.

The philosophy is to educate and empower all the patients who come to the Practice and to assist them with their health and healing. Albert Place is also keen to promote the benefits of using TCM in the maintenance of good health, balancing the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects, leading to a more joyful and balanced life.
